Venture Corporate Finance are devastated to report the death of our Transaction Director, Paul Davies, who passed away at his home on Friday.
Paul’s career began as a chartered accountant with PWC in 1994. Following this, he spent two years in Abu Dhabi with Ernst & Young, before embarking on an impressive 25-year career in the City. Throughout, he was responsible for advising companies across a variety of sectors – including TMT – on public listings and fundraising. During this time, he worked for the likes of Beeson Gregory, Collins Stewart, and Arden Partner. Latterly he provided invaluable counsel to his colleagues at Venture Corporate Finance as well as serving on the board of AIM listed Angling Direct Plc.A committed supporter of both Norwich City Football Club and Wales Rugby Union, Paul is survived by his wife Sue and his two children, Anna and Charlie. He will be much missed by everybody at Venture.
